The two bedrooms each have a queen bed; one bedroom has an en suite bath and there is another full bath off the hall (each bath has a walk-in shower). Miramar Villas are located 2.5 miles/4 km south of the town core, which means you are away from the crowds yet still within easy reach of everything. In the neighborhood we have:
--Suya Tour operator (2 minute walk)
--Marin’s, a small grocery store (3 minute walk)
--A few good restaurants (2-15 minute walk)
And there are more shopping, restaurant & entertainment options on the way to & in town, which is not far away!
The Belize Barrier Reef, the longest in the western hemisphere, is very close to shore making the area ideal for scuba diving, snorkeling and fishing; other water sports are also popular!
It's easy to take a day trip to the mainland to visit Maya sites such as Altun Ha and Lamanai; or to observe some of the 500 species of birds found in Belize and/or catch a glimpse of monkeys, manatees and crocodiles in the wild!
