We invite you to experience the tropical luxury of Belize from our spacious new (2009) Oceanfront condominium. Belize boasts the world's second largest Barrier Reef as well as numerous small islands (called Cayes) which offers unparalleled diving and snorkeling opportunities in the clear Caribbean. Local businesses offer daily trips diving, snorkeling, fishing, sailing, cave tubing, jungle tours, or visiting Mayan Ruins. Wherever your interest lies you can find something to do in Placencia. It is still very much a small Central American village untainted by large scale tourism which is what makes it so unique. Fly into Belize City (BZE), from there it's a short 35 minute flight into Placencia. A 5 minute cab ride from the airport will deliver you to Los Porticos. The condo/villa is located a short distance from Placencia Village .Golf carts and bicycles rentals can be arranged on-site.The village contains many open air restaurants serving the freshest seafood as well as featuring local and international cuisine. U.S. currency is accepted everywhere at an exchange rate of 2:1.
