We invite you to experience the tropical luxury of Belize from our spacious new (2009) beachfront condominium. Belize boasts the world's second largest Barrier Reef as well as numerous small Islands (called Cayes) which offers unparalleled diving and snorkeling opportunities in the clear Caribbean. Water temperatures maintain an average of 79-84 degrees. Local businesses offers daily diving, snorkeling, fishing, sailing, cave tubing, jungle tours, or visiting Maya Ruins. Wherever your interest lies you can find something to do in Placencia. It is still very much a small village untainted by large scale tourism which is what makes it so unique. Fly into Belize City (BZE), from there it's a short 35 minute flight into Placencia. A 5 minute cab ride from the airport will deliver you to Los Porticos. The Condo is located a short distance from Placencia Village where bike and golf cart can be arrange for rentals. The village contains many open air restaurants serving the freshest seafood as well as featuring local and International cuisine. U.S. currency is accepted everywhere at an exchange rate of 2:1. English is spoken throughout the village, but if you stay long enough you might be fortunate enough to pick up the Caribbean Creole which is the preferred language of the local residents. *Do note that a 10% Local Service Charge is payable upon check in.
