Please note, this property is about 8 miles north of Corozal. You will need personal transportation. Walking distance to Corozal Bay (about 600 yards). All electric, water (cistern), propane water-heater, septic. Includes fridge, toaster oven, microwave, two-burner hot plate, electric kettle, dining table, small couch and two chairs, hardwood floors. There is NO clothes washer and dryer or full-size oven. Bed linens and towels provided for four guests.
At the time of this writing (2022), there is a small family-owned grocery store, Marie’s Grocery, in Consejo Village (1.6 km/1 mile north). They have ice and drinking water, beverages, canned goods, liquor, and more. Check them out! (Go back to Consejo Village Rd and take a right, you’ll find them maybe 3/4 mile down the road on the left.)
There are also three restaurants near Marie’s: The Buccaneer Palapa, The New Millennium, and the new 2020 Café (est. 2020) All very good for lunch and dinner! Closer to Corozal, off Consejo Village Rd, there is also La Piccola Pizzeria and JahMundo Restaurant.
