Hike the local trails, explore the local village permaculture garden 'Fluttery Finca'. Our community is a bird watcher's paradise. It's home to hundreds of birds, and jungle wildlife. You'll see possums, bats, butterflies, howler monkeys, toucans, tapirs, ocelots, white hawks, toucans and parrots. Down at the Macal river you can just relax and swim or dive off the rocks. Take a canoe or kayak ride, or charter the local Belizean pontoon boat to explore the three local waterfalls. You can hike and swim the waterfalls, or watch and enjoy. Spot the iguanas. Watch white hawks flying overhead. You might even see the resident crocodile!
